Iqan is a small, technically credible firm built by two brothers — Ali and Nameer Haidar — based in Ottawa, working with clients everywhere.

Why Iqan exists

Ali and Nameer Haidar founded Iqan in 2026 — not because it was the safe move, but because they kept seeing the same problem.

Large companies had entire AI and engineering teams. Small businesses had nothing — or worse, they had tools they didn't understand, templates that looked like templates, and agencies that overpromised and underdelivered.

Ali spent 8+ years building production AI systems at Ford Motor Company, Cerio, and Ericsson. He knows what it means to build something that has to work — not something that demos well. Nameer brings the technical fluency and the client-side communication to make that engineering accessible.

Iqan is the firm they wished existed for every local business owner they knew.

إيقان (īqān) is an Arabic word that means certainty — not blind confidence, but the kind that comes from mastery. From understanding something so deeply that doubt disappears.

That's what we aim to bring to every project. Not a guess. Not a template. A system built with enough depth that it earns your trust.
